Brooklyn Kraft Haus was founded out of a yearning for quality and
old-fashioned craftsmanship, missing in the modern day. There is a loss of integrity in the
manufacturing of products for the American marketplace. Nearly every product
that we buy has been produced overseas and for the masses, produced cheaply and without
quality. Kraft Haus’ goal is to empower the individual artist by building community, to
nurture and support them in finding the resources and skills they need to bring back the quality
of hand-made goods. Bring back good old-fashioned quality hand-made products!

Brooklyn Kraft Haus is a community which gives artists and crafters of all genres an opportunity
to connect with people who have similar interests and to share ideas, techniques and resources.
At Kraft Haus we enjoy a variety of crafts and welcome the opportunity to learn crafts.
Every month, we host a variety of craft related workshops, taught by very talented teachers
and local artists.
